It's been a while since I've done any speed work, so I thought I'd try it out. My plan was to do a mile warm-up, 3 mile repeats at 5:30 pace, and a mile cool-down. After the second mile repeat I started to notice some pain in my right calf again, so I jogged it out for the last 2 miles of my workout. I'm starting to think this calf thing is never going to go away.
It's my last full day in Japan, so I'm going out to explore a bit.
Later in the day I was able to check out another one of my son's soccer practices.
Then we went out for Indian food again. It was tasty!
