Life V. Marathon Day 81

Back in the hood and suffering from some fo real jet-lag yo! I didn't start running until 10 pm tonight. I did a modified version of the Lake-to-Lake 10k course. Since it was so late I wanted to avoid any drunks downtown (I was still chased by a drunk lady), so I changed up the route a little. Feels good to be home.

Tomorrow I'll run 10 miles easy. Hope to see you out there.

  1. Welcome back yo!

So I was in Walmart two nights ago and had the most hilarious guy ring me up. First of all, when I walked up he said "Hi, how are you? There's no place I would rather be than Walmart." Then when he rang up the Dr. Seuss book I was buying he said it was a great book and he was actually in the middle of it right now. When he noticed that I looked gross, he asked if I had been running. So we got to talking about that. Then he said his former manager runs marathons and that in a matter of a year's time he saw "him" go from a big buy to a really small guy. So I asked what his name was and he said Charlie. I think you are famous around these parts. I think I may start a fan club!

  2. Daniel is great! Some people will only go through his line, even if it's backed up.
