I was soaked in sweat 4 miles into this morning's run. Hopefully, all this training in the heat and humidity will make my Fall marathon a breeze. I ended up doing 8 miles in 57 minutes.
I saw something I thought was strange at 6:30 in the morning. A wedding. Weddings at Lake Mirror are pretty common, but not that early. Also, it wasn't being held at the usual, more scenic spots around the lake. It was taking place on the sidewalk across the street from the feed store. It was as if they parked on the street, jumped out, and got it done in a hurry. I'm talking, white dress, groom, and about 5 other people. Weird.
